The Jharkhand Academic Council was enacted by the Jharkhand State Legislature and assented to by the Governor of the State on 26.12.2003. The council was established for holding and conducting examinations at the end of Intermediate, Education, Secondary Education, Sanskrit Education and Madrasa Education and for prescribing courses of studies for such examinations and for recommending for recognition of Intermediate Educational Institutions, High Schools, Sanskrit Schools and Madrasas to the State Government.

Jharkhand Board - JAC 10th (Secondary) Result

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check the JAC 10th Result 2018:

• Click on the official website link. (link will be provided above)
• A new page will be opened on the screen.
• Fill the required details such as Roll Code, Roll Number or Student’s Name.
• After filling the details, click on the “Find Results” button.
• The result will be displayed on the screen.
• Candidates must take a printout of the result for further references.

IMPORTANT NOTE:- Downloaded and printed JAC 12th result 2018 is not to be treated as the original mark-sheet and is made available only for immediate information to students. Original mark-sheets will be issued to the students separately by the board, a month after online declaration of the result. The original mark sheet can also be obtained in person from the respective institutes in which they studied.

As per the data given in the table, the passing percentage and number of students appeared in the exam have been increasing year by year. In the year 2017, around 3,67,295 students were appeared in the 10th examinations out of which 58% students have qualified the exam. The passing percentage of boys was 87 % while girls passing percentage was 88%.
