It is now governed by Bihar State University Act 1976. Magadh University, Bodhgaya has 44 constituent and 105 affiliated colleges. It has collaboration with Tata Institute of Social Science for skill development. The University offers various courses in the Faculties of Humanities, Science, Commerce, Management, and Vocational in 29 Subjects.

Magadh University Ph.D. Admissions 2018

Magadh University invites applications for admissions to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in various subjects for the academic session 2018-2019. Eligible candidates can fill the application form in both the ways i.e. online as well as offline.

Magadh University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:-

• Candidate must possess master’s degree with not less than 55% marks or equivalent grade from this university or any other recognized university.

How to Apply for Ph.D. Admissions 2018 at Magadh University?

The registration process for the Ph.D. Programme is done through both Online and offline modes. The detailed procedure of both is given below:

Steps to Apply Online:-

• Go to the University Website.
• Click on the “Registration button”.
• After successfull registration, the application form will appear.
• Fill the application form carefully.
• Upload scanned copy of all the relevant documents and photograph.
• Proceed to pay the registration fees.
• Registration fee can be paid by Debit card, Credit card or Net Banking.
• Submit the duly filled in application form.

Steps to Apply Offline:-

• The application form can be obtained from the Directorate to prospective applicants on payment of the prescribed amount.
• Application fees can be paid through Bank Draft in favor of “Director, Directorate of Distance Education, M.U., Bodh-Gaya” payable at Bodh-Gaya or through money receipt.
• Send the duly filled in application form along with attested photocopies of the all relevant documents to the following address:
