Mysore University Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess master's degree with minimum 55% (50% for SC/ST Candidates) marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
There is no upper age limit for Ph.D. Admissions in this University.

The registration process for Ph.D. Admissions is done through the online mode on university official website i.e., http://unimysore.ac.in Candidates have to submit the scanned copy of bank challan and all relevant documents through the university website.
Mysore University Candidates who are Exempted from Entrance Test
Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR NET Examination or who have completed M.Phil. course or Foreign Nationals with Indian / Foreign Degrees are Exempted from Entrance Test.

The candidates will be selected on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF) Fellowships OR Lectureship through UGC/CSIR NET Examination/ K-SET/ GATE OR Government/Aided College Teachers under FIP Or completed M. Phil. in the relevant stream can also take admission without entrance test.
